Specifications and unboxing of one plus 7T pro

OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition phones were launched last week, and the OnePlus 7T Pro went on sale just a few days ago. The two phones are now receiving a new software update, and the update brings camera improvements and bug fixes. Both our review units have received the update, and while the changelog is minimal, we recommend all early adopters to update at the earliest. The OnePlus 7T Pro price in India is set at Rs. 53,999, while the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is priced at Rs. 58,999.
The OnePlus 7T Pro latest update carries the version number OxygenOS 10.0.1.HD01AA, and theOnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition latest update also carries the same version number OxygenOS 10.0.1 HD01AA. The sizes of both the updates are 109MB and 107MB, respectively. The changelog for both the phones suggests that the update brings improved photo quality, enhanced stability of camera, user experience improvements, and general bug fixes as well as performance improvements.
We recommend users to update their OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition as soon as possible. If you haven't received a notification, check manually in Settings to see if you've received it or not. Ensure that you download the update under good Wi-Fi connection and while the phone is on charge. As is usual with OnePlus, one can expect the rollout to be in batches.
As mentioned, the OnePlus 7T Pro price in India is set at Rs. 53,999 for the lone 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The smartphone comes in single, Haze Blue colour option. It is available to buy on Amazon India, OnePlus.in and OnePlus offline stores. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, on the other hand, will go on sale from November 5 with a price tag of Rs. 58,999.

Specifications and unboxing of one plus 7T

OnePlus usually releases a fresh model when there's a new flagship-class Qualcomm Snapdragon chip to be used, or when it senses a big market shift in terms of design or features. This philosophy has helped the company stay ahead of the curve, even at the cost of annoying its fans who might have spent quite a lot of money only to find their brand new devices outdated in less than six months. In this case, it has been just over four months since the launch of the OnePlus 7, but we already have the OnePlus 7T hitting the stores. What's surprising is that the OnePlus 7T isn't just a minor refresh with a new Snapdragon 855+ processor – it picks up many of the features that set the more premium OnePlus 7 Pro apart from the OnePlus 7, including a third rear camera and a 90Hz display. Unfortunately, it also continues OnePlus' other habit — increasing prices with each generation.

OnePlus 7T Summary

OnePlus has taken a bunch of features from the more expensive OnePlus 7 Pro and put them into the OnePlus 7T, which is the successor to the OnePlus 7. To add to this confusion, the older two models have only been on the market for around four months prior to this launch. While some buyers will love having more features and power, there are others who will be disappointed that this company has raised the price of its base model yet again.
The OnePlus 7T offers three rear cameras - a standard 48-megapixel one, a wide-angle one, and a 2X optical zoom one - along with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, a 90Hz screen, and frosted glass rear panel. These are all premium features, and this phone definitely looks and feels the part, rivalling flagship phones that cost up to twice as much.
You might not like the huge circular camera bump on the rear, and sadly there's no IP rating or wireless charging. There's also still a waterdrop notch cutting into the screen for thefront camera.
Performance is great, especally in games. The cameras are somewhat of a mixed bag, delivering very good results sometimes, but not consistently. This phone also runs Android 10 out of the box, with OnePlus' customised OxygenOS skin. Battery life is good and this phone charges insanely quickly.
New buyers with a budget of Rs. 40,000 will be delighted with the OnePlus 7T but OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro buyers, as well as fans of the brand, might be a little annoyed.
